Trees of Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the future and healing the past from sexual abuse. Our healing groups lead survivors of sexual abuse into living full, healed and restored lives. Our prevention workshops educate parents and other caregivers on practical ways to safeguard children from sexual abuse.
Our History
Trees of Hope was born in a living room in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2006. Our founder was a survivor who had a burden for helping others experience hope and healing from the trauma of childhood sexual abuse. In 2010, our vision expanded to include prevention workshops to educate parents and caregivers on how to protect children from sexual abuse.
Through the generous support and dedication of countless individuals, companies and churches, Trees of Hope has impacted over 5,500 lives with our message of hope and healing over the past 14 years. While we are so grateful for all we’ve been able to accomplish so far, we believe that this is just the beginning. Will you join us in this fight?
Trees of Hope was born.
2008
The first prevention workshop facilitated at Rio Vista Church.
2013
Reached 2,500 people with the message of prevention and healing.
2015
Expanded Trees of Hope into Virginia.
2018
Launched "Not Just a Hashtag" podcast. Served over 5,000 people with our prevention and healing programs.
2020
2006
Hosted the first women's healing group study called Shelter in South Florida.
2010
Hosted the first men's healing group study called Renew in South Florida.
2014
Hosted over 15 prevention workshops.
2017
Published teen healing programs - Thorn and Nobleman.
2019
Published new prevention education resources for all age groups and parents.

Our Vision.
Our vision is to become the go-to organization for all sexual abuse prevention and healing resources. We will do this by creating educational and teaching resources for every stage of life to effectively train and equip adults, teens and children. Our work is guided by the vision of a world free from sexual abuse, where adolescents can grow up happy, healthy and safe.
