Nicole Escobar first joined the Trees of Hope team in 2014. After serving the organization in various capacities, Nicole had the honor of being named Director of Trees of Hope in early 2020. Nicole has over 15 years of managerial experience in the nonprofit sector. Her past career and volunteer experience includes sales, marketing writing, editing, publishing and event & facility management, as well as domestic & international humanitarian work.

Nicole holds  a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Trinity International University. Nicole has taught and led countless sexual abuse prevention workshops and assembled dozens of healing support groups for survivors. Since sexual abuse is a part of her own personal history, she is fierce and relentless when it comes to teaching practical ways to prevent sexual abuse and implementing feasible ways to heal.
