This Facilitator’s Guide is part of the Shelter program created by Trees of Hope for survivors of sexual abuse. This guide is for women aged 18 and over who want to become facilitators with Trees of Hope.
 The first step in becoming a Facilitator is to complete the Shelter program. You must then complete the Cultivate online training curriculum. This Facilitator’s Guide will help you learn how to lead a group in a way that is safe for the members. You will also learn how to gently encourage group members to share their stories as they go through the Shelter From The Storm book and workbook.
 
This guide is not for people still struggling in the early stages of their healing journey. It is designed for survivors that have already learned how to process their trauma and who are called to help other survivors heal physically, emotionally, and spiritually through the love of Jesus Christ.
 
You will need this guide to lead groups through the 12-unit Shelter program.
